Return Policy

All Returns Require Prior Authorization
No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization (RA) number. Please contact our customer service at 1-800-769-5668 or e-mail us at sales.support@vanns.com to request a Return Authorization number. Any item returned without a RA number will not be eligible for return and will be refused.

Return of New Items
Vann’s allows you to return any new, factory-sealed and unopened merchandise within 45 days of your purchase date. You may choose a full-credit product exchange or a full credit by the same means payment was made. Shipping charges cannot be refunded. 

All returned merchandise must be unregistered, in complete original manufacturer’s packaging, same condition as sold, with all factory packed accessories and documentation (e.g. batteries, chargers, cords, straps, unmarked warranty card, manuals, etc.). 

Return of Damage or Defective Items
Vann’s allows you to return a damaged or defective item within 10 days of your purchase date.  An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced or returned for a full refund.  Claims for items damaged in transit or missing items must be received within two business days of delivery. You may instead opt for a replacement or full credit by the same means payment was made.  No replacement or refunds will be processed until the authorized returned items has completed the receiving/inspection process. Please include a detailed written description of the defect and how to replicate the problem.  A refund will be processed 4 business days following the receipt of your return. A replacement will be shipped within 4 business days following the receipt of your return. Merchandise found to be non-defective will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Additional fees may be assessed for missing accessories or hardware.

  • It is always possible for a TV to be damaged in shipping, so we ask that you inspect the TV before signing, not just the box. Please refuse the delivery and contact us at 1-800-769-5668 if you notice damage to the TV itself. All damage related claims must be reported within 2 business days of delivery. A replacement will be sent immediately after we are notified about the damage.
  • Vann’s will accept your return. You will also need to pack the TV in its original box with all original packing material, and accessories. If the TV was shipped via Freight delivery, we will arrange and schedule the pickup.

Product Exchange

If you purchased a product from Vann’s that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a full refund and simply place a new order for the item you desire. A refund credit cannot be applied to a new purchase.  Vann’s reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fees.

Non-Returnable Items 
Vann’s is unable to accept returns of the following:

• No refunds or exchanges on used or opened merchandise unless defective.
• No refunds on labor and/or installation services.
• No refunds on consumables including but not limited to recordable media, photo paper, digital memory, tapes, batteries, CD/DVD's, etc.
• No refunds on opened computer software, movies, music and video games. (To get credit for these items, they must be unopened. If the original is damaged or defective, please see details above). 
• No refunds on special order merchandise.
• No refunds on any product with a service activation feature.
Any merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. If the item is damaged or defective, please see details above.  The product serial number must match the serial number in our database.  Vann’s maintains serial number tracking.  If the product serial number does not match the number in our database, the return will be rejected.

 

Restocking Fee 
Vann’s reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20%. Whenever a product is returned and it is determined there is misuse, damage or neglect, based on the condition in which the product is received, a restocking fee will be determined. These fees apply unless the item is defective or damaged, you received the wrong item, or the fee is prohibited by law.  It is Vann’s hope that we never have to apply this type of additional charge.


Packaging Your Return
Returned merchandise must include all factory packed accessories in the original carton with all UPC and Bar Codes intact. Incomplete returns will receive a reduced credit reflecting any missing accessories. Return merchandise must have no writing on the manufacturer's box. Your Return Authorization Number must be displayed prominently on the shipping label.  Merchandise lost or damaged during shipping is the shipper’s responsibility.

 Personal Data 

Please remove all personal data (e.g., computer or wireless phone data, videotapes) from any returned products. Vann’s is not responsible for any personal data left on or in these items. 

Promotional Items and Rebates
Any product that is returned without the promotional item(s) included with the original transaction (e.g., buy TV, get free DVD player; buy TV, get free Gift Card; or buy TV, get DVD player for half off) will have the value of the promotional item deducted from the refund amount. Any product that was purchased when a mail-in rebate was available on the purchase is subject to having the amount of the rebate deducted from the refund amount. 

Return Shipping Costs
You are responsible for shipping any return product to our warehouse. Returned merchandise must arrive no later than 14 days after we provide you with a Return Authorization Number. 

Processing Time
Returns meeting the conditions outlined above will be processed within 4 business days following receipt. Vann’s reserves the right to deny any return.
