I recently purchased this with the hope that I would be able to watch an entire movie using Netflix through my TiVo without having to restart the movie several times due to the wireless G adapter buffering problems. I am happy to say it has been a success. The movies have never had an issue since installing this wireless N adapter. I have even noticed a considerable difference in transferring speed. I can transfer a 30 minute show from my other TiVo at least twice as fast as I could. I have also noticed how much faster it is to transfer shows to my compter using TiVo Desktop. I have even purchased another TiVo wireless N adapter for my other TiVo. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

I already had a N Router with ISP Downloads over 6 to 10 MBPS along with a TiVo Adapter that was the older G & B adapter. So, decided to give this TiVo Wireless N Adapter a try to see if it would improve my Netflix Streaming plus other Web based features of TiVo.
My N Router has WPS feature, so it was very easy to install the TiVo N Adapter ... instructions were very clear and easy. Worked right away on my TiVo box. It did improve the download times for YouTube videos. Do not notice too much of an improvement on TiVo Search Beta Search nor on Netflix Streaming of movies. I was hoping to be able to get Netflix to stream in HD quality, but it still can not do that. So, it only very marginally improved Netflix streaming for me. I have not tried downloading any Amazon or Blockbuster movies since I have Netflix. Would hope it would improve that download time, which is several hours using a B and G Adapter.
If you have a TiVo box with no Adapter, I would strongly advise buying this. BUT, if you already have the older B & G Adapter, I would say wait a little while longer until the price drops more on this N Adapter. The improved download time is better, but not earth shattering.

Setting it up and getting it to work with my wireless network took some effort partially due to my network security, but once done, it is working fine and FAST - and requires no additional effort.

I was dissatisfied and returned the TIVO AN010 Wireless N Adapter.
It did not recognize my secured G router, but recognized my neighbors unsecured G router !
Instead I use an Ethernet wired connection.
The solutions indicated by the forums are unnacceptable to me 1) Use two AN010, or 2) Use a WPS N router incompatible laptop
or 3) Unsecure my network - really ?
