In life it's the connections
If a receiver is judged by the amount of information it can handle, then the Denon AVR 1913 7.1 channel AV Receiver is on the Supreme Court. 6 HDMI ports (one on the front for convenience) handle your input both today and tomorrow, while digital audio in coaxial and optical provide optimum clarity, while the analog inputs handle your legacy equipment. A front USB port makes sure your iPod/iPhone makes it to the party, while a rear ethernet port streams content. The GUI overlay on the HD Source provides a great way to navigate. Need more? The Denon Remote App turns your tablet or smartphone into your remote, providing even more content control.
Clean up your act
Clarity starts with the seven fully discrete amplifiers, one per channel, supplying consistent power that eliminates peaking. Every channel has a high performance 193kHz/24bit D/A converter to reduce distortion, while the Denon Compressed Audio Restorer boosts the sound from your compressed audio files. The clarity applies to the video as well. The 1080p upscaler takes your SD signal and changes it to 1080p for an HD experience from your SD sources, while the 3-D pass-through lets you enjoy high-definition sound and video.
Taking care of business
Denon has been at the forefront of audio technology for over a century, creating new technology while never taking their eyes off the main prize, aural and visual clarity. As they move forward with connectivity, streaming and apps for control, Denon never sacrifices physical performance. Let your eyes and ears convince you that the Denon AVR 1913 7.1 channel AV Receiver should be the brains of your home theater for years to come.

Outstanding advice, service, and delivery from Vanns once again. I was considering several receivers when I called Vanns and they asked key questions and then gave a honest recommendation. I was considering more expensive equipment and they advised I really didnt need to spend the additional money. The Denon AVR 1913 is outstanding and is working perfectly. Thanks again to the folks at Vanns.

I've been using the new Denon Receiver, for several weeks now, and so far so good. I probably could have gotten by with the Denon 1713, for my particular needs, but decided to go for the top model, instead. My main reason for purchasing the Denon, was for the HDMI inputs, as my older Pioneer AV Receiver, did not have any. Now its somewhat easier to connect the TV, Blu ray player, etc to the Denon Receiver. The sound is very good, as the Denon drives my Klipsch floor standing speakers, quite well.
