Isn't It Cute?
The tiny Apple wireless keyboard definitely inherited some of its looks from its ancestors. The keys bear a striking resemblance to those of a MacBook. The anodized aluminum is the same style used for MacBook Pros and other Mac computers. The difference, though, is the keyboard's size. This Apple is conveniently dwarfed by its forebearers. The keyboard is only an inch and a half thick, and roughly only 19" wide by 8" deep, weighing in at two pounds. It's a handy keyboard to have around, easy to move, and makes a great accessory for MacBooks as well. The Mac styling cues ensure it looks good with any Mac computer, and with virtually anything around it. Together, the Apple wired keyboard's small size and traditional looks make it a great partner for any capable Mac, and even a wireless mighty mouse.
Such A Giver...
Not only does the Apple Wired Keyboard work well for typing, it serves as a USB splitter, too! It didn't seem right to the designers at Apple that this keyboard simply take up a USB port on the computer it's being used with. So, when they built the Wired Keyboard, they gave it two USB 2.0 ports to connect to, for example, a wired mighty mouse and an iPod. This makes it a lot easier to connect other devices to your computer.
All The Buttons, Half The Size
On such a small keyboard, you'd expect the loss of some of the buttons (as on the wireless model), but the wired Apple keyboard maintains all the functionality of its larger kin. In addition to the standard keypad, the wired keyboard includes a numerical pad for quickly entering values into the computer. In addition to that, it's equipped with buttons for quickly navigating pages without taking time to reach for the mouse, move around, and click. Finally, it comes standard with a special set of function buttons to control such things as volume, brightness, and disc ejecting without the hassle of navigating menus galore. Efficient would be a great word to describe this tiny keyboard.

This wired keyboard replaces a wireless keyboard. The design is sleek, sturdy, and easy to clean. Being wired there are no batteries to go bad disrupting service. The footprint is small and saves space. The quality of keyboard is excellent and quite sturdy. I would buy this product again and would recommend it to a friend. I wish I had purchased it sooner.

This keyboard is well designed, compact, responsive, and looks great - apple doesnt skimp on the details. Ready to go right out of the box, and the 2 usb 2.0 ports are a great addition and well placed. its too bad the wireless keyboard didnt have a number pad - a great feature if when using the more compact keypad on a laptop.
