Get it together!
If you're like most people, you have a lot of music from a lot of different sources. There's your CD collection in the theater room, all those songs you loaded onto iTunes on your laptop, a handful of albums on the desktop, the sometimes-frightening choices on your family members' computers, the selection on your loved one's iPod, several tunes on your music phone, and then that "mixtape" your friend gave you on a flash drive. How do you keep it all organized? How do you play the song you want? If you have to track down the computer with the music you're looking for, then play your favorite jam on woefully underpowered computer speakers, there is a better way! With the MusicCast2 Network Music System, you can access all the tunes in your home wireless network quickly and easily to play on speakers with real sound. There's also an ethernet port on the clients if you prefer a wired connection. Access up to 16 computers to play on up to 32 players with this system. And it can all be conveniently controlled from one intuitive, pocket-sized unit. You can also play internet radio or Rhapsody music (with a subscription, of course), as well as iPods or Bluetooth-enabled music players (each requires a separate dock), or even USB flash drives. The MusicCast2 system can play WMA (except lossless and Pro), MP3, AAC (except Apple lossless and Fairplay DRM), FLAC, and WAV files, and using software included with the MCX-RC100 Network Music Commander, can even play your songs from iTunes. And that's just the start of the great features! Get all your music sources in the palm of your hand by adding the Yamaha MusicCast2 System to your home today.
Meet the "client"
One of the essential pieces to the MusicCast2 puzzle are the "clients" that actually play your music. After just a couple minutes using the MCXA300BL Amplified Network Music Player, you'll know you made the right choice. This Network Music Player will connect to your home network using its 10/100 ethernet port, or Wi-Fi (either 802.11b or 802.11g standard). It can then access all the music files on your home network. Using a built-in amplifier, all you need are two speakers, an outlet, and speaker cables to play your favorite music in any room in the house. But there's also a subwoofer output so you can get added bass by using a powered subwoofer. On the MCX-A300BL there is also a USB input for your songs on flash drives, and a dock input if you utilize either an iPod dock or a Bluetooth adapter. It's your music solution!
