Not your ordinary convection — Dual Convection
Say "good-bye" to baking 'what-ifs'. No more "What if you could achieve better, more even heating and browning?" No more "What if you could use lower baking temperatures and still have shorting cooking times?" LG's Dual Convection baking is here. Convection ovens differ from more traditional ovens because they circulate the heated air in the oven around your dishes. This constant movement of warm air results not only in more even cooking or heating, but also warms food faster by preventing the formation of an insulating layer of cooler air around foods. Even better, the circulation of warm air allows foods to be cooked at lower-than-traditional temperatures. Finally, because convection baking is based on the circulation of air, you can achieve optimal results with dishes or pans on multiple rack levels at once. The LRE307757's Dual Convection system uses two fans and two built-in 700W convection elements, adding advanced convection baking to your culinary repertoire.
Good-bye to the oven-light blues
Whether you're baking a frozen pizza or home-made brioche, you have to monitor your dish's progress as it cooks. Ideally, you should be able to turn your oven's interior light on and look through the oven window to check on a dish. However, most oven interiors are so dim, that even with the oven light on, you can't see a thing. Consequently, you have to open the oven door to get a clear view, simultaneously releasing the oven's hot air and disrupting your food's cooking cycle. Look through the LRE30757's WideView™ window and get a clear view of your food thanks to a unique blue interior design that creates a brighter viewing area by better distributing the oven's interior light.
A range of options on your new rangetop
When it comes to rangetop burners, more is better. First, the more burners and burner-wattages that you have at your disposal, the more dishes you can prepare at one time and the greater control you can have over the preparation of each dish. By matching a particular dish to a particular wattage, you can achieve the cooking performance you seek. For example, for searing meats quickly at high temperatures, the LRE30757's 9", 2,500W left-front burner is ideal. Also, the 7", 100W burner is perfect for simmering delicate sauces while the rest of the meal cooks. Second, having multiple burner sizes is important because matching burner size to pan size is crucial for maintaining the condition of your pans. Using a burner that is either too small or too large for your pan can result in uneven heating of the pan that can both damage your pans and cook your food unevenly. Your LRE30755SW features three single-size burners, ranging in size from 6" to 9", a 7" warming zone, and a dual-size 9"/12" burner that is essentially two burners in one.
Even heat for even baking
Most ovens are designed with bake and broil elements that provide insufficient and uneven cooking and browning because the elements cover only a portion of the surface area above and below your foods, delivering an uneven distribution of heat. The 6-pass bake and broil elements designed into your new LRE30757, on the other hand, produce the best level of heat distribution available from radiant element designs. To describe an element as "6-pass" is to say that that the element passes over the top of your food six different times as it curves its way from one side of the oven's interior to the other, in a long, multiple "S" shape. By designing both the 3,400W hidden bake element and the 4,000W broil element with a 6-pass configuration, LG has assured that your dishes will receive even baking and browning. A three-rack system featuring two full-width racks and one split rack and multiple rack positions give you optimal versatility for taking advantage of your LRE30757's 6-pass elements and 5.6 Cu Ft oven capacity.
A feature it's easy to "warm up" to
Despite your unrivaled skills in the kitchen, sometimes some dishes are finished cooking before the rest of the meal. As a result, LG has designed your LRE30757SB with two warming features. First, a 7", 100W warming element on the rangetop is ideal for keeping sauces at a simmer while you wait on the main dish. Second, a 1.9 Cu Ft, 600W warming drawer located below the main oven compartment lets you keep side dishes warm while the main course cooks in the oven.
Sure, if you're really bored, you can clean it by hand
Your new LRE30757SB fights fire with fire. Spills and messes inside your oven are tough to clean because they get baked right onto the oven's interior. It's the heat of the oven that makes clean up a hassle. Oddly enough, it's the heat of your LRE30757SB's Self-Clean cycle that makes clean up a breeze, too. By generating extremely high temperatures within the oven compartment, the self-clean cycle effectively reduces any burnt-on spills into a powdery ash that can be easily wiped out once the cycle has ended. And wiping out the oven's bottom is made easier by the LRE30757SB's hidden bake element. The bake element is designed beneath the panel at the bottom of the oven compartment, both giving you easy access for cleaning and preventing spills from burning directly on to the element itself.
Take the reins
Easy to use and easy to clean, the IntuiTouch™ Control System with scrolling IntuiScroll™ display makes operating your LRE30757SB a snap. The left side of the panel mirrors the cooktop elements, while the right side controls the oven functions.
